Sarah Cigna, MD, MS, FACOG, IF (She/Her) is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology with The GW Medical Faculty Associates She is the current Director of the SAGA (Sexual Health and Gender Affirmation) Center and Director of the first Sexual Medicine Fellowship in the country for OBGYN physicians. She was born and raised near Baltimore, Maryland and earned her Bachelors of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. While applying for medical school, she completed a Masters of Physiology at Georgetown University. She attended medical school at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and stayed on at GWU to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
