Raul Castillo, MD, received his medical degree from Ponce School of medicine in Puerto Rico and completed his fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr Castillo is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology, and has held numerous posts at prestigious professional and academic institutions. He was honored with the ASCO Clinical Trial Participation Award from the Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth) Cancer Institute in 2006 for his involvement with cancer clinical trials.
