Dr. Purdy decided to pursue his career in cardiology at age 14 after seeing how his father’s heart attack affected him and his family. He practices medicine because he loves interacting with people and with most of the things he does, his patients see immediate benefit. He is always looking for ways to improve outcome and quality. In his free time he enjoys boating and fishing, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and having family Sunday brunch.
