About

Kristina Conner, ND, MSOM, LAc

Naturopathic doctors act as guides to assist you in the process of gaining and maintaining health. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are trained to assess disease, as well as lifestyle. Using that information, NDs start first with natural, low-invasive therapies. If needed, NDs will use higher-force interventions or work in conjunction with other practitioners who do.
Naturopathic medicine takes a comprehensive view of health, which informs us about your main concerns and your general health and lifestyle. Education is a large part of naturopathic care. It is important to not just give treatments but have the patient understand their condition and treatment options. Naturopathic patients get the best results when they take an active part in their healing process.
Kristina Conner, ND, MSOM, Dipl. OM graduated from Bastyr University in 2001 with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and from National University of Health Sciences in 2013 with a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine where she also served as Clinical Faculty and Clinic Coordinator before starting her private practice at World Tree Natural Medicine in February 2005. Currently, Dr. Kristina Conner is Associate Professor at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.
