After being licensed by the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners in 1984, Dr. Butner started practicing chiropractic in Merced as an associate doctor. She opened her private practice here in Modesto in 1985. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Butner has over 30 years of training and experience in spinal adjustments and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in diagnosis, examination, x-ray, technique, and treatment procedures.Dr. Butner's friendly staff will strive to make you feel comfortable and at home in our office. MANUAL METHODS FOR SOFT TISSUE
Myofascial and Trigger Point Release - The doctor uses her hands or other tools to stretch, elongate and mobilize adhesive tissues of the muscles and ligaments for healing and recovery.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Ultrasound. Electrical muscle stimulation. Cervical Traction. Intersegmental Traction. Heat and Ice therapy.

We find it helpful to instruct our patients on certain activities of daily living that they should do differently or temporarily refrain from to avoid aggravating their particular condition. It is our desire to assist every patient achieve a fulfilling lifestyle full of the activities they enjoy.
