Step Ahead Wellness Center is the Premier Doctor Directed weight loss center in NJ. It provides an integrated approach with a physician, registered dietician and personal trainer to offer the most up to date and state of the art weight loss programs and support. We also offer the Optifast weight loss program for more rapid and supervised weight loss. Our approach is compassionate and complete to insure that your weight loss journey is successful. We also offer an on-site personal training space that allows for 1 to 1 training sessions in a private and comfortable space with our certified personal trainer. To make your weight loss experience easier, we offer the support of small(3-5) training sessions in the evenings and weekends, a walking club, a cooking club in the evenings and various other group sessions for support and encouragement. Our emphasis is meeting the individual needs of every patient that comes to Step Ahead for weight loss and we make sure that your program is unique to fit into your lifestyle, and your particular medical needs. We encourage increased physical activity through the 10,000 step program which encourages daily walking - at home, in the office, the store or in your neighborhood. Every patient is equipped with a state of the art pedometer to keep track of their progress. Our staff is always available to offer support, encouragement and motivation 24/7 through the phone or email. We make sure that we are there for you, every step of the way!

I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.
