About

Scott Farmer, M.D.

My mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based medical care to my patients. I will achieve this goal by listening to the expressed concerns of my patient, reading all available printed and online information provided to me. I will then clarify any questions I have through specific exploration of the issue. I will bring the full value of my experience and training to inform and guide my selection of an effective treatment.

I will enlist my patient in the shared enterprise of improving their mental health. Together, we can amplify the power of mental health care to improve quality of life! We will do this by encouraging full disclosure about medication compliance and distancing oneself from dangerous influences: substances, risk taking behaviors and negative people.

I am committed to working in concert with the systems within which I encounter patients. I will bring to the enterprise of system based care the full value of my knowledge of management; motivational strategies and enfranchisement of all players by valuing their contribution to the process of delivering care. I will promote employees and colleagues to express their experience of frustration and waste of time and resource to expand my awareness of inefficiencies in the system. From these diverse vantage points I will seek to identify enhanced efficiencies through design of processes which capitalize upon the skill sets and structural assets of the organization.

I will strive to strike a balance in work and leisure so that I will continue to bring my full creative energies and enthusiasm to the workplace.

He is great,. But sometimes tries to see too many patients so you end up waiting for hours. One time I waited 5 hours! Plus office staff cant keep up withvall of the insurance demands, which at one point cost me $2000.
