Finding a balanced, centered way of living your life can be a challenge in today's hectic world. If you have found it difficult to get through the day because you are depressed, fatigued, unfocused, distracted, or just feeling disconnected you may need some help. There are many things that you can do to help yourself live a healthier life. We focus on lengthening your healthspan not just your lifespan. Whether it is talk therapy, exercise, nutritional counseling, or addiction treatment we can help. Our clinicians work with you to find the right solution to the problems you have. We use a variety of techniques and treatments to give you the tools you need to make more than just a short term change. We specialize in treating eating disorders, compulsive eating, and obesity related issues, addiction (drug and alcohol), and post/pre physical rehab. If you are struggling with out of control, depression, or anger eating, or just can't deal with the dieting/weight gain merry-go round then together we can work to improve your life. It's not what you eat but why that really matters the most. I combine a holistic approach that includes therapy, fitness training, and nutritional/dietary counseling.

I believe that all individuals have the capacity to heal without regard to their gender, faith, beliefs, or personal attributes. Blending conventional and alternative approaches, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. I work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

There are three areas that you can effectively change and improve your life: your mental well being, your fitness levels, and your diet. Our treatment model includes evaluation of these three areas allowing for the treatment of the whole person rather than just the symptoms.The symptoms are not the problem, the problem is the problem.

I saw Jacques twice. I ceased going because of cost. He does not accept insurance. I was so disappointed that I could no longer see him. I was very pleased and felt that my problems were being dealt with in a very good way each time I went to see him. I saw a therapist that had been a therapist for many years before I started seeing Jacques and she was horrible. She influenced my bad behavior and kept trying to relate her real life to mine. Jacques never did this. He attempted to find reasons why I was the way I was so that I could understand what I may be able to do to correct my behavior. He only once related to me but it was, again, to help me understand the reasons behind my behavior.
Unfortunately, I am moving out of the area and will no longer be able to see Jacques. But I definitely recommend him to anyone I know who is looking for help.

All of my questions were answered completely thoroughly. I felt like I definitely learned a lot. I have been working with Jacques for about six months and I am sober for the first time in my life. He helped me get through some really bad times and we forcused on my real issues rather than just talking about the weeks experiences. Really professional and a great help to me. I would recommend him to anyone dealing with trauma or addiction.
