About

Karen L. Kaye, M.S.; L.M.H.C.

Welcome and thank you for reviewing my profile. My name is Karen Kaye. I have 30 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
My clients have expressed to me that the reasons that they chose me as their therapist is because I live what I teach and I give 110% of myself and my healing methods, which assures them the results they want to achieve both individually and in couples sessions.

I specialize in both holistic and conventional methods to meet the needs of each client. In using a holistic approach, I treat the whole person(s) instead of their “label” or "defect." A holistic approach uses many avenues to aid in reaching the desired results. These methods include, but are not limited to some of the following techniques: journal writing, affirmations, and visualizations. As a Clinician, I must be able to identify and treat various symptoms with varied severity. Results are achieved through opening many doors and windows of the mind, body, and spirit that were once closed.

Clients range from ages 8 to 80 who seek counseling for a variety of issues including but not limited to: relationship conflicts, low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Clients receive results as they learn from the past, live better in the present, and have a better future on their own or with another person.

If just talking about your problems has not worked for you, then the transformational process that I teach will offer you awareness, alternatives, and actions to a more fulfilling life. Karen has allowed me to see the power inside of myself. Whether in terms of knowing my truth, speaking my truth, and knowing my worth she has cast a light on all of my ability. She doesn't heal you, she shows you the tools and gives you the ability to work on yourself. Whether it be by bringing an unhealthy thinking pattern in your life to light or asking the perfect question at the right time, she has an intuition and an understanding unparalleled to any person I've ever met. She has a subtlety to her approach that stuns me time and time again. If you're ready to grow and actually do the work, this is the person to go to.

I give thanks to the universe for allowing me to find this wonderful, kind, honest woman that truly lives what she teaches. Karen's helped me to face my good, bad & uglies from my past, forgive my parents & love my inner child. Now I'm a success in my work & personal life. I've learned to speak my mind respectfully, knowing I deserve to stand up for myself. I actually like who I am & don't need sex, drinking or drugs to numb my pain.
I had no self esteem, suffered panic attacks, was over weight, had no idea what setting boundaries was & allowed others to use me as their personal door mat in the hopes of being liked by them.
I've been able to re-write my life. Thank you Karen!
