Divorce/Custody Evaluations
Courts often request a psychologist’s assistance to resolve children's issues that arise during a divorce. Judges and lawyers often seek out Dr. Lovinger’s help to resolve child custody disputes; otherwise know as the "allocation of parental rights and responsibilities.”
When asked to perform a child custody evaluation, Dr. Lovinger focuses on the best interest of the child and keeps their needs paramount. Dr. Lovinger is especially well suited to undertake this sensitive task; in addition to his other credentials and expertise in psychology, psychotherapy and personality assessment, he is a trained and certified child psychologist.
Psychological Evaluations

In addition, strategic short-term therapies and crisis stabilization services are offered. All therapies are individualized and designed with a solid foundation in child and adult development, personality theory, and a clear understanding of the etiology of symptoms and behaviors, from a biochemical, family and environmental perspective.
