Mariko is a licensed massage therapist in New Hampshire since 2000. She has taken various continuing education courses in medical massage, and practices deep tissue modalities.

Mariko started Thai Yoga Massage in 2006 under Charles B. Duff at Thai Bodywork in Illinois. She is a certified Thai yoga instructor and currently teaches extensive courses of Thai Yoga Massage in New Hampshire.As well as being a massage therapist for people, Mariko is also a certified equine massage therapist. Earning her intermediate instructors qualifications through the British Horse society in 1986, prior to this career Mariko taught competitive dressage for over ten years in Japan. This has given her a keen eye for balance both in horse and people, and she loves to work with the dual dynamics of equine sports.In 2008, Mariko developed Euqi-thai, an equine massage using hot Thai herbal compresses in conjunction with traditional massage techniques. She is also currently conducting Equi-thai workshops for horse owners.

She is a firm believer in the various physical and mental benefits of massage therapy, and tailors each session to best fit the client.

Choose between an Eastern or Western massage modality to best suit your needs. Each session is tailored to you. We offer sessions from 30 minutes to as long as 90 minutes. Relax after with complimentary tea or water.

We are located in an original Victorian house on Main St Nashua. Please check our monthly specials and schedule changes. Walk-ins are welcome however there is no guarantee for availability, we highly recommend an appointment.

Services Therapeutic massage is manual manipulation of the soft tissue. This aids in reducing stress, pain or tightness due to everyday tension, previous sport injuries or accidents, repetitive work motion. The techniques and pressure are adjusted to each client's needs. The therapist will use either an oil or cream and the client will be fully draped at all times.

This session will be tailored to you. Please arrive at least ten minutes before your appointment to allow time to go over your needs with the therapist. Disposable undergarments will be provided for your comfort. You will be draped at all times during the session. It is also recommended to have time to relax after your session, complimentary tea or water will be provided.
Thai yoga massage:
Traditional Thai bodywork is a therapeutic technique that dates back for thousands of years. It is a fusion of various biomechanical disciplines in which compression and deep stretching are dominant. The client remains fully dressed in comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and lies on a floor mat.
The therapist uses hands, feet, forearms, elbows and knees to apply a combination of massage, and gentle yoga-like stretches in a rhythmic flow of movements.
