Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is also provided and is a powerful method of psychotherapy. To date, EMDR has helped an estimated two million people of all ages relieve many types of psychological distress. EMDR is a powerful psychotherapy technique that has been very successful in helping people who suffer from trauma, anxiety, panic, disturbing memories, post traumatic stress, and many other emotional problems. Until recently, these conditions were difficult and time-consuming to treat. EMDR is considered a breakthrough therapy because of its simplicity and the fact that it can bring quick and lasting relief for most types of emotional distress.
Mental Health Assessment/Evaluation reports are also completed to assist the client and their attorney (if they elect one) in their course of treatment and for the therapist to gain understanding of the client dysfunction. Families of origin are explored to assess the early defenses developed and to assist the client to be aware of these defenses and how they are affecting them in their present lives.

Counseling/Psychotherapy services are NOT provided to those who are actively abusing drugs or alcohol or who are physically abusive. Persons that the Landrian Assessment and Counseling, Inc. cannot serve will be referred to a more appropriate resource. Additional Services Mental Health Assessment/Eval Reports
