About

Stephanie Beardsley, DVM

Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital (CTVSH) provides referral services in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Rehabilitation and Conditioning, Neurology and Ophthalmology. The veterinarians at CTVSH have all completed 4-5 year specialized training programs in their respective fields. Each department functions independently, yet interacts closely to provide the best overall care possible.

An appointment with CTVSH starts with a referral from your family veterinarian. This referral shows true concern for your pet. CTVSH works in cooperation with your veterinarian, forming a comprehensive health care team. Your veterinarian is proficient in all areas of veterinary medicine, while our doctors specialize in one area. Our diagnostics and treatments focus only on those problems which prompted the referral. CTVSH then provides your veterinarian with a complete report of your visit. All other primary health care will continue to be provided by your family veterinarian.

Dr. Beardsley performed surgery on my cat for an aggressive sarcoma. It was a complex, major procedure on a tiny 6.5 lb. cat. Eight years later, my cat is still cancer free, and very happy!
