Here at Animal Medical Center we take a slightly different approach to pet health care. Instead of directing our focus on the disease or disorder of a sick or injured pet, we direct our intention at healing; knowing that if we work with the pet’s healing abilities that we can jointly return to perfect health without interfering with other vital functions.

Pet Immunizations:
Several years ago studies at several major veterinary universities indicated that we are vaccinating our pets too often. Very specific guidelines were recommended by these universities and our professional veterinary organizations such as the AVMA, AAHA and AAFP. These guidelines are for the routine (core) vaccines and strongly suggest that they be given every three years instead of annually. Therefore, we at AMC, offer a three year vaccination protocol for our dogs and cats.
Conventional Surgery:
Here at AMC we have a state of the art surgical suite with gas anesthesia and full-monitoring system. We provide routine surgeries such as spays and neuters as well as more complicated procedures such as orthopedic surgery and soft tissue surgery.
In House Laboratory:
At AMC we have laboratory capabilities to do in-house analysis with blood and urine. This allows us rapid turn around time and pre-operative protocols.
Radiology:
We have clients come from across the state because of our ability to perform OFA x-rays without anesthesia. We feel that this enables a more exact evaluation of the hip and elbow joints and provides a safer protocol for the pet as well. Additional Services Justin Roscoe
