Wow, anonymous gave a sastifactory review and McCoy gives a less than sastifactory review. This makes me wonder if theses reviews are given by the staff to sway the public. Here is what my family experienced.. Our loved one was placed in the care of this facility for hopefully a short recovery. The room was filthy...Bed was not operational...poor communication between staff(shifts). Was told different variations of what our family member was being giving, not food, but her meds! Arrived only to change soiled sheets, gowns. Most of the staff do not wear name badges to identify with whom you're speaking to. Was not contacted to sit in on care plan. Smoke follow you into building where patients sit at front entrance to smoke. You read this and ask why not remove your family member; unfortunately, beds fill quickly at facilities and you are left to hope and trust that what is being advertised and the hospitality shown to you upon arrival will follow the patient throughout his/her recovery. If you place a loved one in a nursing facility, you really have to become an advocate. You become their voice, because they have become silent out of fear.
