My personal life needed support so I turned to Dr. Squire. I found an alternate provider earlier than she could get me in so we chose that route. I let Dr. Squire know we wouldn't need the appointment by sending her an e-mail.

What happened thereafter was something I have witnessed only twice in my lifetime as a mental health patient. She called and blamed me for not being able to take the day off. She was extremely rude and demeaning on the call and hung up on me not once but twice that day when I called for follow up after meetings for the day had concluded. I am disheartened that this person is providing care to our community especially those in need.

Dr.- If you are not well, please cancel your meetings and take some time off.

I am a mental health advocate and navigator with Mental Health Connect. I was searching for services for an individual that I am working with. I came across Lisa Squire, who happened to take both of my client's insurances. I was very happy to learn more about Lisa and see if she could provide the things my client requested me to find for her in a provider. I left Lisa a message on Wednesday 5/23/18 at 11am. She called me back 2 days later. I asked her if she had experience with a specific mental illness as well as her years of experience etc. My client was looking for a provider close in age to her as well as experienced in the field. Instead of sharing her experiences with me politely, Lisa decided to tell me that she did not need to be interviewed by me and she doesn't know who I am and obviously if she has been working in the field for 35 years she is experienced enough. I believe Lisa was having some sort of ego issue happening. I will NOT be referring my client to her, and I hope this gives others a sense of the kind of provider she is. If she can speak to me in such a way she probably handles her clients the same way
