They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain. The staff was friendly enough, but nothing special. They made a little effort to welcome me. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. The magazines in their waiting room were boring. Junk like "People" and "Us"; all fluff and gossip and showbiz and crap like that. No Reader's Digest or NatGeo or Smithsonian; and surprisingly for a cardiologist, no magazines or other literature on heart health. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine seriously. However, it's been over a week since my 30-day heart monitoring finished, and there were at least a dozen "events" during its course, and nobody's called me concerning any kind of follow-up consultation. This bothers me. I'm not a member of the "no news is good news" school of thought. I want to know what they found, even if it was nothing to worry about.
