My wife and I moved to Dr. Markowitz' family medicine practice because we wanted more focused and attentive care. Our previous physician is a fine fellow, highly qualified, but his clinic over the years had become stressed, frazzled, and overworked. We did some checking around and found that Dr Markowitz is a doctor (of internal medicine, no less!) with credentials from the Mayo Clinic, highly rated by peers. We signed up to be part of his new solo practice. We've highly valued the access to same day appointments and even telephone consults. But the best part was when, during this year's physical, he noticed a slight lump in my neck. He "didn't like" that it had not been there when he examined me in connection with a sinusitis visit two months earlier. Dr. Markowitz did not hesitate, but firmly steered a followup diagnostic course revealing thyroid cancer within a matter of days. Successful surgical treatment followed immediately. My prognosis is excellent. Hiring Dr. Markowitz was, in my view, one of the best decisions of my life!

They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time.
