I have been seeing Dr. Graves for many years. My experiences had always been positive until recently. My last couple of visits have not been great. The waiting times have increased and my time with the doctor seems rushed. Waiting an hour to see the doctor for 5 minutes is nonsense. Today I attempted to make an appointment and I was informed It would be 2 months. 2 months really? He is a family doctor not a speciaist. So much for that. I am now looking for a new doctor.

If I could rate this physician any lower than 1/2 of 1 star, I would. Dr. Graves is in the office with my family physician, so I am forced to deal with him from time to time while my doctor is out of the office. His nurse is friendly; however, she must not be allowed much autonomy. My husband and I each have over 20 years of experience as RNs, plus many of our family members are RNs. We go to the doctor only when it's absolutely necessary, as we're able to determine when we need tests to diagnose, or more than just over-the-counter medications. Dr. Graves is very condescending. Over the years when we've been forced to see him, he has exhibited a horrible bedside manner. He once gave my spouse a steroid injection because he misdiagnosed chicken pox, arguing with him that he was wrong. My spouse, as a result, got so sick that he required hospitalization later that evening. On another occasion, he refused to refill a medication for me while his partner was out, simply because he just "chose not to." This resulted in quite a bit of suffering, and a trip to the emergency room with hypertension. This man has no kindness about him, nor any concern for patients in need. Because of this, our entire family is now looking for another physician, as we refuse to ever have to deal with Blane Graves again.
