You can always tell when a pain Dr. Has decided not to help you before you even see him. He never requested urine to test prior to seeing him. All pain Dr's do that. Then he proceeds to tell me, he does injections and doesn't like to prescribe anything but morphine for chronic pain patients. I tell him that I don't react well to morphine, he doesn't care. He blows me off saying he won't give me anything but morphine, with my insurance. It would seem he only wants to do injections. That's where the money is, not in writing Rx's. Thanks for nothing Dr. A long drive and a paranoid Dr. Do no harm I guess equates to, do no good either. I'm a professional and can see BS when it's being told to me. So, in conclusion, unless you need lots of expensive and worthless injections, don't waste your time going to him.
