About

James Bridgeman Jr, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Bridgeman for a little over three years now and my husband has been seeing him for @ five years. We find him to be professional, sympathetic, and attentive. He has never prescribed any medicine "willy-nilly" and monitors all medicines he does prescribe. He listens to our concerns and seems genuinely caring. I also find his staff much friendlier than many other doctor's offices I have been to over the years. There is nothing "disgusting" about any part of the building where patients are seen or wait. I highly recommend Milestone Family Medicine!

They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. It was very clear that they didn't take pride in their office's appearance. In fact, the office was disgusting. I would never send my friends or family here. My experience here was truly horrifying. I was never able to relax during my appointment. I was on edge the whole time. My whole family was uncomfortable with Dr. Bridgeman- he prescribed my sister medication that he did not know anything about. The medication was not calculated right and after taking 2 doses of the medicine my sister died. Dr. Bridgeman settled my sisters husbands lawsuit for over $300,000.00 Be careful this doctor does not know what he is doing

This doctor wrote a prescription for methadone for pain. He wrote the prescription for 40mg 4 times a day. It should have been written for 2.5 mg 3 times a day. This mistake killed his patient Carmen DeRossett. She was 53 years young. She died in less than 24 hours after starting the medication. He failed to give precautions for this medication. He also wrote prescriptions for other CNS medications to be taken at the same time. These medications should have never been taken together. The patient also suffered from emphysema and pnuemonia. The doseage mistake alone was deadly, but given with all the other central nervous system medication and the fact the patient had emphysema and pnuemonia she never had a chance of living.
