He had his own practice but left and went the VA. I cannot say enough about how he helped me, was caring, took his time, and was genuinely concerned for my health. When I showed up at his office, in tears & without an appointment to ask what I should do to help my mother who had a bleed on the brain he took the time to talk to me. My mother was not his patient, but he still made room in his schedule to talk to me - RIGHT THEN This man knows what he is doing and will give you his undivided attention. As for his nurse, I cannot tell you about his current nurse, but the nurse he had while in his practice was great. I would very strongly suggest you talk to Dr. Hill if you have a problem with someone who works for him, I cannot believe he would tolerate rudeness or incompetence. Dr. Hill is the best of the best!

I was seeing Dr Hill for MS. I had questions about my MS and my treatment plan. I tried to let the nurse know that I wasn't sure about the plan that I picked, but she shot me down, before I could finish my question. I called back the next day to let them know that I didn't feel comfortable with the treatment plan and wanted to change it. I was stereotyped by his nurse. She was very mean and nasty with me. I have now been referred to a new doctor. This has pushed my treatment back by two months. So until the new doctor calls me to set up an appointment, I'm in MS limbo. I was treated very nasty when I went in to feel out paper work to have my records transferred. I think Dr Hill was a good doctor. I was trying to change my treatment plan to the one that he wanted me on in the first place. When you are having to decide what you are going to do or how you are going to deal with something like MS for the rest of your life, you should have more then 30 minutes to decide. After all you will be the one that will have to deal with it for the rest of your life, not the nurse! Just some understanding would have been nice!
