Overall I have been VERY disappointed with the service my father received when he chose to go to Dr. Kupfer for his hernia surgery. I felt as though the doctor had her own agenda on what needed to be done and would not listen to what we were trying to ask her as for the types of options my father had for surgery. The doctor was unwilling to vary her opinion and she was like, "this is how the procedure is going to be done" and that was that without taking her patient into consideration.
She was very curt to me on the phone and when I called her office before my father's surgery to ask some last minute questions I had. The staff at her office seemed completely useless. After asking the staff questions about the medical procedure/ equipment that would be used (basis questions; strattice, anesthesia, staples/sutures) the staff offered up no understanding of what a hernia repair includes. Nor did they take the time to say they would call me back and try to find out the answer.
OVERALL, VERY POOR QUALITY/ SERVICE & ALL AROUND TURNOVER. My father's hernia looks that same as when he went in, does not look any different. DO NOT LOOK INTO HAVING THIS DOCTOR DO ANY TYPE OF PROCEDURE TO YOU.
Even after the procedure my father was complaining of arm pain which he never had prior to the surgery. Dr. Kupfer said, "it had nothing to do with the surgery." HA! Now answer me this, if my father did not have arm pain before the surgery, however right after the surgery he was complaining about arm pain in the recovery room. Dr. Kupfer, you honestly can't say it wasn't the way he was placed on the table during his surgery?????
Come on Dr. Kupfer.... You got a MD degree... NOW USE IT!!!!!!

Future and/or presents; do yourself a favor and save yourself, a lot of time, frustration, and a lackluster performance, steer clear of this doctor.
