Dr. Furie is the sole physician practitioner at Midtown Sports Medicine, guaranteeing that the continuity of care will not be interrupted. Arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder and ankle, and arthroplasty (joint replacement) of the hip, knee and shoulder are the common procedures performed at Midtown Sports Medicine, but we also treat a myriad of injuries with non-operative treatments including physical therapy, orthotics and pharmaceutical interventions, i.e. oral pills or injections. Dr. Furie currently is seeing patients in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 8 A.M., and operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Dr. Furie operates at 5 locations - Atlanta Medical Center, Piedmont Hospital, Northside Hospital, The Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center and The Perimeter Surgery Center of Atlanta.
