WOW how I wish I had never called this office. After three solid strikes I decided it was time to find a new ENT. I started as a new patient with a nose problem. STRIKE 1 – I went in for my first appointment and waited 45+ minutes before being seen, when I did finally see Dr. Sabol he spent 2 minutes looking at me, continually cut me off while I was trying to explain the problem and decided it was a staph infection just by viewing it. He prescribed me an ointment and scheduled a follow up one month out. I used the ointment for 10 days and saw no improvement so I called in because the prescription said to stop taking it if no improvement was seen after just 5 days. STRIKE 2 – I called in and the nurse I spoke to was rude and insisted I continue using the ointment and also start an antibiotic, I was unsatisfied with this answer so I called back and asked to directly speak to the doc. Dr. Sabol agreed I should stop using the ointment and just do the antibiotic. I finished the antibiotic and still saw no improvement; my follow up appointment was scheduled for tomorrow. I scheduled my whole week around this appointment; the office called to confirm the appointment last night but then called again this morning at 8:30am to reschedule. STRIKE 3 - The receptionist gave me no information as to why it needed to be rescheduled just that the doc had “decided to not come in” tomorrow. She then proceeded to tell me that the earliest she could reschedule me for would be DECEMBER. So this office thinks it’s appropriate to cancel someone’s appointment the day before and then not reschedule him or her for 3+ weeks out. My nose issue has only gotten worse in this time and the only thing that got me through was knowing I would be seeing the doctor soon. I told her that I would be finding a new doctor and that this was totally unacceptable, not once did she apologize, all she said was “not a problem” and hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE.
