I have seen several doctors since my hand surgery with Dr. Gary Schwartz and they all have said they can not believe what a horrible job he did. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and returned for a consultation for a possible second surgery or recommendation for alternative therapy. Before we could even discuss what he thought the problem was and what possible and he chose to YELL at me after I waited for over an hour after my appointment time (which is standard wait time at his office btw). He was completely unprofessional in the meeting, raised his voice, accused me of not following protocol (which I DID, even seeing his useless hand therapist twice a week).
Now I am consulting other doctors to see if they can fix this hack job and they are telling me that this is common with his surgeries and he has a reputation for being "mean to patients". What?!? What kind of a doctor is mean to their patients? Especially ones who have paid $10,000 dollars cash (no insurance) for a botched surgery. Unbelievable. I will be encouraging all his other patients to post reviews as well. Next time you see someone with a mangled hand, ask him how ol' Gary's doing.
