I want everyone to know that this is a scam artist.

First, she and her husband are the only two people who work in their office. After you pay an exorbitant fee, reaching them is difficult. “Dr. Jaine” kept my husband and myself in her office for more than two hours (during this time, no other patients walked into the clinic – we are newcomers and were not aware of her antics but apparently everyone else is). While we were there, she repeatedly told us about her ongoing battle with Orlando with regard to a neon sign that is located outside her office without proper permitting. She went on and on about how unfair it is that she is being asked to properly document the sign, saying they are racist. She had brought a very large, gold (maybe 8 feet by 10 feet) statue into the waiting room that she said will protect her office and practice, creating a sort of alter in the waiting room. During the TWO HOURS we were there she insisted on telling us about her upcoming campaign for a political office (County Commissioner, maybe?). Her goal was to “fight back” against the tyranny of the regulations regarding her neon sign and also the HOA in Isleworth, where she lives. She was angry that the Isleworth HOA has been asking her to clean up her backyard and doesn’t think it matters since no one can see it, again saying they are racist.

I was there for an HRT prescription (“Hormone Replacement Therapy”). After she drew my blood (without wearing gloves) she showed me a slide show on a dirty laptop that she had evidently prepared for something many years ago as it was outdated information. She then charged me more than $350 dollars for the blood draw and erroneously charged me another $36 because she had a hard time using the credit card machine. She told me I should not submit this to my health insurance, and seemed very shady about the health insurance. I told her I didn’t know if my insurance would reimburse me for the HRT appointment and she said I shouldn’t let health insurance know that I am taking or using HRT anyway and to not submit anything to them.

She said she was sure that I needed HRT and without receiving any blood test results she prescribed a high dose estrogen cream for me to start using immediately. She called me a week later and left a message that she had my blood results and to call her back. I tried to call her back many, many, MANY times, never reaching her. I was put on hold for more than 15 minutes by her husband, and also by her at least 3 times. During this frustrating time, I also underwent a spinal surgery and had 8 weeks of very intense recovery. When I started to feel a little better, I tried to call her again to get my HRT refilled. I had never received a letter, email or voice mail after the first voice mail. When I finally reached her I was on hold for 15 minutes again but I waited when she came back on the phone she abruptly and rudely told me that I “frustrated” her because she couldn’t reach ME! I had tried many, many times – but she actually told me that now I needed to come in again and have another blood draw (another $360!) for her to prescribe the hormone cream I needed. Usually HRT blood draws are one time per year. I honestly couldn’t have stomached another two hour appointment to hear about her personal problems in that grungy office. Steer clear of this practice – they are not doctors, they are scam artists. I have many doctors who would vouch for me – I am a very conscientious patient and easy to work with. This is the one and only time I have been treated this way by any “doctor” and this woman is just completely unprofessional and rude. I called her office to request a statement and my blood test results and her husband told me “come in and I’ll give it to you”. I asked if they would mail it and he said no. I asked if it will be ready when I come in and he said it wouldn’t because they won’t print anything until I come in so I will have to just wait.

Do yourself a favor, find a real doctor with a real staff and a real office. This is NOT a professional or courteous doctor who really practices medicine.

I went to Emergi Care yesterday with 103 fever, coughing, sore throat and chills, and in a great deal of pain. Her first question to me was "who is your insurance provider?" I have a great plan from Humana, but she said she doesn't accept Humana, and that I would have to pay in cash. She even said, " I can make you better, but you have to pay first." I would have been able to pay the amount in cash if I had to, but the treatment that I received from her was outrageous, that I refused to stay there another minute, and went to the ER instead. My family are long time patients of Dr. Usha, and I was absolutely disgusted by the treatment of this so called Doctor. She is a money hungry leech who has no consideration for the well being of patients who come to her looking for treatment. Having money and a formal education does not give you class or integrity, and Dr. Usha Jain proved that to me yesterday. Needless to say, none of my family will be returning to her ever again. She should not be able to call herself a Doctor.
