My husband is a patient of Dr. Charu. There are not really issues with her, she is pretty nice and willing to answer questions. Her staff on the other hand is ridiculously incompetent. The only person I ever felt was actually helpful is Natalie. Other than her, the staff is constantly dropping the ball. It is frustrating when you are dealing with time sensitive issues to have the staff constantly not follow-through on what they said they would do. There have been several occasions where they have not properly sent authorizations causing delays with referred doctors or billing issues. Most recently, after physically going to the office and requesting that my husband's records be faxed to the surgeon he was referred to, they said they would do it that day and failed to. The following day it took several calls to get through to someone and once we did she recited the incorrect fax number, even though it was given to her the day before on a post-it. When people are sick and are fighting for their lives, the last thing they want to deal with is an incompetent staff causing further delays in their recovery.
