Insurance change, 2009 and was my given choice...never ever would I referred anyone to this office. Wait was long & crowded. On our last visit, He was very rude to my daughter & I. He told me I would need an eye prosthetic! This coming from retina detachment and cataract in same eye. I argued no I wouldn't. He, I'm the professional who knows what's right! I had been seen by Dr Boyer for past year. Never mentioned eye prosthetic needed! Never went back. Only positive advice, insisting on attending the Braille Institute. for the blind and following thru with all the recommendations needed to attend.
He really didn't like anyone questioning his authority and knowledge. My daughter's senior project was on retina detachment and macular degeneration. She had been researching information for past two years. She doesn't back down.

Took my 20 month old son for an eye exam with this so called CHILDRENS PEDIATRIC EYE DOCTOR! well my visit started off by having to wait in the hallway for about 2 hours!!! The girls in the front desk were not so helpful either. One word to describe them is GHETTO!!! They were complaining about one of their co-workers calling them stupid, and i was there to witness it. I mean they didnt even care that I was standing right there! WTF! Once my sons name was called we then had to wait in another waiting area for about 15mins then we finally were put in a room and had to wait for another 30mins. Total wait time for rude service 2 hours and 45 mins. As soon as DR. Urea walked in the room I can tell this man was going to have a A HORRIBLE attitude, and he did!! This man did not know how to handle babies. He was complaining the whole time about my son not cooperating with the test, HELLO!!! hes 20 months!! and plus he was being super ROUGH!! I immediatly grabbed my son and stormed out of this place, the office manager attempted to stop me but I just wasnt having it. Dr. URREA is a very unprofessional M.D. and I will never return here again. I definetly recommend anyone to look around before you decide to come to this office. This man is not trained to work with kids especially lil ones! and I wouldnt doubt him treating adults the same way. GHETTO LOCATION RUDE SERVICE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF HORRIBLE DOCTOR! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
