In addition to his private practice at QLMC, Dr. Maximov is the Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation Services at Tucson Medical Center, where he also serves as the medical consultant for Senior Services.
Dr. Maximov practices patient centered medicine. Each patient has their own unique experience of a disease which means treatment must be tailored to the specific needs and lifestyles of each individual patient. Dr. Maximov strongly believes in patient education. Educated patients have the ability to make more intelligent choices about their health care.
Dr. Maximov and his assistant Cindy are a great team. Patients look forward to seeing when they visit the QLMC clinic. Dr. Maximov is a sought out speaker and also enjoys educating small and large groups on medical and personal topics. Dr. Maximov is an avid hiker and nature lover.

Dr. Michael Maximov specializes in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He is board certified in both specialties. Dr. Maximov graduated from the University of Illinois School of Medicine. His Internship, Residency and Fellowship are in Clinical Pharmacology and Cardiology. These were completed at the University of Iowa.
