Following his residency, Dr. Brief went on to serve our country as a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps with the Marines in Da Nang, Vietnam from 1969 to 1970. Dr. Brief is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has been married to Dr. Rochelle Brief and enjoys spending time with his family. He is also a published author who enjoys art appreciation, classical music, long distance walking and is a wine critic.

L. Paul Brief, MD, is an board certified orthopedic surgeon with Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (NEOSM). Dr. Brief completed a residency at New York University (NYU) Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases.
