I was referred to Dr Thomas 2 years ago. At which time I was diagnosed with cervical destonia. Every 3 months she injected me with various types of botox such as disport and botox. She never used a ultra sound machine which now I have realized is critical to insure injections are getting into the effected muscles. Her injections NEVER helped my condition. She seemed in a hurry and said she does not need any machine. Her approach was to go through all forms of botox including myobloc. If results continued to not be effective then to schedule DBS surgery. NEVER was any other option addressed with me such as selective nerve denervation. My condition continued to get worst with Dr. Thomas which she appeared to have very little interest and in fact suggested I go to UT Southwestern. Which I did. During the next year injections were given with a machine which greatly improved my condition until antibodies effected the results. At which time it was suggested to me that selective nerve denervation be considered. Since then I took the recommendation of UT Southwestern and had the procedure which has all but aleviated my conditions. Dr. Thomas does her profession a dis-service by not being more concerned about her patients and not effectively knowing how to inject her patients. Further, her limited knowledge of options to her patients is unfortunate because it is critical you find the right neurologist to see. There is a difference!
Dr. Thomas on more than one occasion was arguementative with me just asking questions. I strongly recommend going to UT Southwestern to insure you get the right choices and better services for your condition. Her insensitive nature made the whole experience worst and I am very thankful today I found someone who took more of an interest in my condition

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their office and clinical staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming, are sincerely interested in my well-being. They are always professiona, respectfull and helpful which reduces any stress that I may be experiencing which makes my visit more pleasant. Under Dr. Thomas's care I have been able to continue to work full tme and have experienced no significant "off days" All my questions were answered. Dr. Thomas always truthful, but not negative when informing me of my progress. I appreciate her candor and her support. I feel confident and hopeful about the future. The office is easy enough to find. I intend to stay a patient of Dr. Thomas' as long as she continues to practice. I have the greatest of confidences in her knowledge and skills in treating my condition and I know she provides me the best of care

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
