When you make an appt they ask you to arrive 10 minutes early, which I did, only to sit in the lobby for 35 minutes total before being called back. my appt was scheduled for 10am, i arrive at 9:50am, and did not get called back until 10:25am .... the appointment itself took 5 minutes. 4 people checked in after me, yet they got called back before me. The nurse said she would call with results, she never called. I had to find my results on my MyChart. All the women that work in this office do not care about their patients. Or at least they act like they don't. The nurse I had was rude and short to me and was rushing me out of my appointment. I don't recommend this office at all.

I was a patient with WROG for over 34 years. I started there when there was only 6+ doctors. Additionally, other family members have gone their and my daughter went their 17 years after being delivered by Dr. Poleshuck. In 2015, I had an outstanding bill of approx. $149.00 which was coinsurance. I might add that I have a very good insurance plan. I was going through a very difficult time and was delayed in paying this bill. I received a letter stating that because the bill was unpaid, they were releasing me from the practice. I paid the bill over the phone. I explained what was going on and asked why didn't they just not suspend services until paid and they said they tried that in the past with their patients and it wasn't working. I asked if they would please reconsider and they would not. They said that unfornately, others like me fell through the cracks of this policy and they were sorry. I can count one hand how many times I was delayed in paying my coinsurance; not my co-pay, not what they were paid from my insurance company in 34 years. I am part of University of Rochester health plan; they are under Rochester Regional Health. I think there is a lot more to this than my having an outstanding bill of $149.00 dollars. I feel like after all the years of giving them my health business (after all, they are a business), that I just became a patient file. They have grown to over 19 doctors which is highly unusual but maybe they need to for financial reasons. I know health insurance has become much more difficult and I'm sure they have felt the financial challenges. However, I was a good, healthy, low-maintenance patient, brought them clients and this was the outcome. My other family members are leaving the practice and if this choice of billing resolution continues, I am certain that many more will leave as well. I have asked my doctor to contact me so am certain he personally knows what happened to our patient/doctor relationship.
