When I am sick they refer me to a clinic that is a drive away. And - I am not part of an HMO!!! I felt like he blamed everything on my weight vs. listening to me or checking into what prescribed drugs may be doing. Later I discovered on my own that my alergy pill was making my BP go up. The HTN drug they had me on was causing problems that were not addressed. Best thing I did was to stop taking the meds and stop seeing the doctors. It would be nice to find a doctor who would listen to what I say and not put me in a category because they only have 10 minutes and have to move along. Instead, I have had to do it myself thru trial and error and self monitoring.
