Fairhope Eye & Laser Center was founded by veteran optometrist Kimberly M. Dunagan, D.O., who performs a full array of eye care services. Our clinic also offers LASIK laser vision correction surgery from Bret L. Fisher, M.D., who has performed more than 8,000 successful LASIK procedures.

Located in one of the most popular resort towns on the Gulf Coast, Fairhope, AL, our clinic offers a relaxing boutique style atmosphere that puts our patients first! Our mission is not only that our patients see better after their appointment, but that they enjoy their trip to the eye doctor in our unique clinical setting.

We are known for our highly skilled doctors and top technology. We are the only clinic in Fairhope that offers blade-free LASIK. To create the LASIK flap, we use the newest Z-LASIK femtosecond laser by Ziemer for improved accuracy and reduced healing time. For the other steps in LASIK, we use the industry's gold standard, the VISX "CustomeVue" Wavefront and Excimer Star laser systems.

We offer free pre-LASIK exams that include the state-of-the-art Pentacam 3-D corneal scanner.

We accept most major insurance and Medicare.

We offer 0% financing through Care Credit for LASIK patients.

Don't even think of getting LASIK laser vision correction anywhere in southwest Alabama besides Fairhope Eye & Laser Center. It's the only place using a blade-free laser besides the newest technology for LASIK. I'm a regular patient of their excellent optometrist, Dr. Kim Dunagan, and then I heard about their safer and more effective Z-LASIK from Bret Fisher, an M.D. He has done thousands of LASIKS and is nationally known. He did my LASIK surgery and now I see 20/15, which is better than 20/20. It's a dream! You can't go wrong with either of these doctors or this clinic.

They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. It is obvious that their office is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic.

Dr. Dunagan is a fabulous doctor and I went to this clinic for her reputation. I was pleased in every way with her care and expertise. I had a lifelong eye problem, which now DOES NOT EXIST after she examined me and figured out the cause and treated it! I got beautiful bi-focal eyeglasses as well from their optical shop. As impressive as the doctors are (and I've also heard great things about Dr. Fisher, who has done thousands of successful LASIKs), the clinic itself also "wowed" me. I loved the beauty and comfort of their clinic's boutique setting and wonder why all clinics don't look like this. You really feel pampered there, besides getting wonderful care and real solutions for your eyes.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.
