I have been to a number of other acupuncturists over the years, and Julie Hamilton is far and beyond, the best I have ever encountered. She is trained not only in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, with its reliance on herbals, but she is also very accomplished in Japanese Acupuncture, Toya Hari, deep massage and she does fantastic “energy work”. Although Julie is quite proficient in all of the above, to me it is in the last two areas that I have experienced the most dramatic help for my particular health problems (which are extensive and include chronic pain). Unlike some of my previous acupuncturists, Julie’s use of needles does NOT HURT. This is particularly important for patients like me who have considerable pain. Julie also has an unusual “gift” for energy work and therefore for relieving pain and healing. It truly amazes me how much she has been able to help me so far.

Julie always goes the extra mile, taking time with each of her patients to find out just what their problems are and what they need from her treatment-wise. She doesn’t rush through a treatment session or do it in an assembly line fashion as have some of the acupuncturists who have treated me before. She doesn't drop a patient just because their health problems are extensive and difficult to treat. If she runs across this type of patient, she just works harder to find a way to help them. Because she is a registered nurse (and very knowledgeable about Western medicine) as well as a licensed acupuncturist (knowledgeable about Eastern medicine), she is able to understand what her patients have gone through in their treatments with conventional Western type medical doctors and she does a wonderful job of explaining both approaches.

I have already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I have had with Julie HamiIton. She is not only proficient and professional, but also caring and compassionate. I particularly admire the fact that she is continually studying, taking workshops and furthering her education to both improve her existing skills and to add more to her “toolbox” of treatment options to help her patients. I would like everyone to see just how unusually gifted and exceptional Julie Hamilton is as a healthcare provider.
