About

Amy STANBERRY, Acupuncture Physician

Amy Stanberry is an accomplished medical practitioner with a diverse background in patient care and professional education. A graduate of the University of Florida's Physician Assistant program (1984), she specialized in Orthopedics and Chronic Pain Management before going on to study 5 Element Acupuncture at the Mandarin School of Chinese Medicine. Amy opened a successful private practice that has been serving the Central Florida community for 30 years. A true family practitioner, Amy often treats multiple generations within families.

Passionate about her work and committed to expanding access to Five Element Acupuncture, Amy began teaching this theory through continuing education programs, then went on to cofound the Florida School of Acupuncture in Oviedo FL. Her training in counseling and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) adds significant dimension to both her practice and teaching of acupuncture, as does her expansive knowledge and use of Bach remedies and homeopathy. She employs these treatment systems in patient care and offers classes for consumers and professionals alike. The depth and breadth of her education and experience coupled with her genuine compassion and love of the healing arts have made her both an exceptional practitioner and a gifted teacher.

Amy is very knowledgeable. I had two painful shoulders from a car accident. Today, because of her treatments, all pains are gone. For a guy who worked and played hard til his 60's, she eliminated all my allergies, numerous body aches and pains.
She treated my dad in his 80's when he had many ailments and pains where he could hardly walk at all. She made it where he could walk again without pain and improved his overall lifestyle. I firmly believed she easily added 2 more enjoyable years to his life.
