Dr. Allison Kennamer is a North Georgia native. After receiving her Bachelor's degree from Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia, she attended the rigorous Doctoral Degree program in Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. While visiting Athens, Dr. Kennamer fell in love with the town's feel and pace, and decided that Athens should be her home. She continues to enjoy living here and feels it is the perfect place to raise her two young sons, Conner and Will.

Dr. Kennamer has been a practicing chiropractor in Athens since 2008, and joined the Thrive Clinic in March, 2014. She is delighted to work in a setting that shares her value of an Integrative Medical approach. She continues to see patients at the The Stewart Clinic, as well. In her practice Dr. Allison treats patients with a broad spectrum of health goals, and has a focus on infants, pregnant and post-partum women.

Not only did I have no more pain after my adjustment, but I felt great afterward. I definitely saw a huge difference. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.

The care I received there was so amazing and life-changing that I too became a chiropractor after being so inspired by the amazing work Dr. Meg was doing.

I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. I didn't mind that they didn't offer on-site X-Rays, because they gave me directions to a lab that was five minutes away where I could get them. I was glad I didn't have to drive very far to get them done. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most.

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary
