Dr. Gaudet was my daughter's pediatrician until this past year. My daughter suffers from Epilepsy. She was a very happy nine yr old until Dr. Gaudet and Dr. Robinett (Nuerologists in his clinic) put her on so much medication until my husband and I watched our child go through at least 3 different personalities. These doctors completely destroyed my childs whole world. She had to be taken out of school in February. Dr. Gaudet put her on a high does of Zoloft and Dr. Robinett had already put her on Lamictal for seizures. Then Dr. Gaudet decided she needed to be put on Clonodine to help her sleep at night. All these meds at one time made her have SEVERE anxiety and OCD along wiht the seizures. My daughter was making straight A's until she had to be taken out of school. Now she is trying to catch up so she can go to 3rd grade next year. If Dr. Robinett would have only called me back but she never one time returned my phone calls about all the side effects the Lamictal had. That's what started it all, the bruises all over her legs, hallucinations, etc... Then Dr. Gaudet demanded I send my shild to Pine Grove for inpatient evaluation. Even the counselor at Pine Grove told me that she did not need to be there because they would only put her on more medication. How could any doctor do tis to a child. Not to mention Dr. Gaudet is the very one who was so determined to prove that both my shildren had cycstic fybrosis. They both got tested and everything came back negative. I think he wants to be the doctor who finds things so he can, I guess you would say, "Get the credit"

Everyones situation is different, just remember if you ever visit either of these doctors at Children's Medical Group to always keep you guard up. I have contacted the makers of Lamictal, Glaxo Kline Smith and reported Dr. Robinett because my daughter did have so many side effects and Dr. Robinett did not ever return one of my phone calls. I would never want another child to go through what my daughter did. I am only doing this for everyone's protection. Our children are a gift from GOD and we as parents are supposed to take care of them and that's all I want to do. During our tragic time we have done alot of praying and have counseled with our Pastor. Thank you God for all the prayers and support we did have.

When you see a whole family like ours spend many days and nights crying, praying and a father having to come home from work for 2 weeks with no pay just to be with his daughter who is coming down off all those medications, it is the saddest thing in the world. We are so thankful to have out little girl back and see a smile on her face. I promise to her that this Christmas will be so special because all the medications made her do nothing but cry last year. I get teary eyed everytime I think about how someone hurt my baby but GOD knows how to change all that and EVERYONE has to answer to him, even doctors. I hope this was helpful to you. GOD BLESS !!
