Howard Salyer is one of the most greedy, heartless, and evil men I have ever known. He has caused me much loss and suffering. It was in the 1970s and I was a young man losing his hair. Desperate for help, I went to see him. He said he could do hair transplants and restore my hair. What he did not say was that it would last only a short while, and the results would then look bad--and by that I mean very, very bad. He started putting the plugs in, and then after a few sessions, without warning, suddenly said that was as far as he could go! He put more plugs on one side of my head than on the other. He put some plugs in backwards. The "hairline" (if it can be called that) is crooked. Just a few years after he "finished" with me, the hair around the plugs fell out. The plugs are 1/4 inch or more in diameter and extremely noticeable if my head is exposed. Even from as far as 100 feet away someone can see that something is wrong with my head. The only thing that will effectively hide the now-exposed plugs are hair pieces, which I have been forced to wear for 34 years. If I did not wear the hair pieces, which have cost me as much as $46,000 to buy and maintain thus far, people would stare at me as if I were a freak. I therefore cannot live as an ordinary bald man with a shaved head, for if I shaved the plugs, it would reveal rises and craters in my scalp like the surface of the moon. It's a wretched situation for me with no way out. Salyer had a cavalier attitude, too, as if he was just "oh, so cool." He knew what he was doing to me, but didn't care. He just wanted the money, which is the only thing all evil men care about in the end. "Woe to you who are unmerciful, for you shall receive no mercy..."
