Curtis Hagenau, MD

Dr. Hagenau enjoys the variety of conditions that he gets to treat as a general neurologist. He divides his work time between the office and Baptist Hospital. He directs the neurology training of the internal medicine residents at Baptist. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville for his undergraduate studies, then attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He did his internship, residency, and fellowship also at Vanderbilt.

He has been in private practice of adult neurology since 1987, and has been with Heritage Medical Associates since 1997. He is board certified in Neurology, and is a member of the American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association, Nashville Academy of Medicine, American Academy of Neurology, American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Headache Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Hobbies include woodworking and motorcycle camping. He and his wife also enjoy reading and dancing.

Services Heritage Medical Associates was founded in 1991, when three independent groups of internists came together to form an organization that would be ideally suited to continue to offer quality patient care in the ever-changing health care setting. From the original practices, we have grown to be the largest independently-owned multi-specialty group in Middle Tennessee, with over 100 physicians and other providers practicing more than a dozen specialties. In addition to the physician practices, we offer a full range of laboratory and diagnostic services, including advance imaging such as mammography, CT and MRI.

Recent Reviews
They've stayed open past their closing times many times when I've needed help. They've never turned me away when I've needed them. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members.
