Our son was referred on for an MRI. We were given no information about what to expect and we spent over an hour at the MRI appt only to be told that due to my son's movement (inhale/exhale) within the confined space, we would have to 'redo' it !
The doctor's staff were very dismissive and then referred him for a CATscan. When I queried about the $250 that I had already paid, they said that I would have to contact the hospital about it! I had to follow up over a week to even receive the results of his CATscan. We made an appointment only to be told that he was going to be referred... a waste of time and money! The referral to Vanderbuilt has been a fiasco... they didn't complete is when first instructed by the doctor. It took 2 more weeks to hear from Vanderbuilt and then we found out that Dr. Castillo's office ordered the WRONG TEST ! What a shame and a dire waste of time and money... to somewhere else !
