I am a young female and had a scary medical condition come up out of the blue. I had blood clots in the veins leaving my brain. I had to be hospitalized for a week. Dr. Boor was the neurologist that my PCP referred me to. I was unsure about him at first, but have grown to love going to see him. He is quirky, but does an excellent job. He remembers all important details about me when I'm there (or at least does a great job prepping before my appointment). He does run behind on appointments, but it's because he allows the patients as much time as they need with him. He spends at least 20 minutes with me each time I'm there. He takes the time to explain things in a way I can understand. I feel very lucky to have had such a wonderful doctor brought into my life at such a crucial time.

This doctor should be disbarred.. We found a much better neurologist. T feel like my appointment was pointless. None of our questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, he was running an hour late- not our fault- but blamed us! Dr. boor exploded in a temper tantrum because my sister "exceeded her 15 minute appointment with all her questions". Inexcusable. I felt worse when I left. He yelled at my father , the patient, who had Alzheiemer's!! I would never visit them again. I would have reported him to the ethics committee but my father begged me to just find him another doctor.
