After earning her Doctor of Medicine at the University of New Mexico in 2008, Dr Xiao completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Massachusetts in 2012. She remained there to complete her hematopathology fellowship in 2013. Building on her clinical focus, Dr Xiao’s research focuses on the pathogenesis of multiple myeloma and environmental factors that may trigger its progression.
