As soon as I entered the FIH doors, I was greeted with welcoming smiles and eye contact. Staff, for the most part, seemed to be caught up on who I was and what I was there for - that gave me confidence in the system and people that I was trusting for a personal (and costly) purpose. Dr. Karmon made me feel like she is committed to her work and that my goal to conceive was also hers. She was thorough in explaining things and always gave me time to respond or ask a question. During the embryo transfer, I displayed my anxious nerves with hysterical laughter and Dr. Karmon gave me the time and calm, confident assurance that all was going well! She used only positive/complimentary adjectives for my uterus, embryo, and fetus. This was comforting to hear from her at those times. My IVF coordinator, Alyssa, was the best. She was professional and personable. I never felt rushed out of the office. Alyssa was easy to communicate with, stayed on point, reminded me of my tasks, and followed up with encouragement! Even while waiting (for time to pass or test results), she sent thoughtful messages on behalf of Dr. Karmon and her through Klara that made me feel really comforted. I was happy to see a message from FIH on my phone!

Everyone that we worked with at FIH-- receptionists, admin team, nurses, medical assistants, PAs, phlebotomist and Dr. Karmon--was unfailingly pleasant, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Cannot recommend this practice highly enough!
