Nazareth Home is wonderful. The facility is clean and does not smell like most nursing homes. The staff are caring and compassionate and really get to know your loved one.

Physical therapy staff was outstanding!!!!!!!!! The nursing staff failed miserably! The skill level of the nursing staff is low and jeopardizes the patient's overall care. Medication and care was often delayed and/or not given without reminders. A specific nursing aid was verbally abusive to my mother, refused to assist her when asked and scolded her repetitively, often leaving her crying and upset. After several days of abuse, this was reported to supervisors and administration, The aid was removed for a week and then was again assigned to my mother. My mother made the best of the situation and when was released, this same aid made a point of letting her know she was still there and not going anywhere despite being reported for her behavior and actions. I believe this was her way of throwing it in our faces that she prevailed over the patient and their family. Otherwise, the facility is a nice place and most everyone is pleasant and friendly.
