First visit, to keep an eye on a chronic condition previously monitored by another physician. Was well pleased with Dr McCarthy. He is friendly, patient, and easy to talk to. He explained thoroughly, informed me as to my options, and answered completely all the questions I had. In fact, 3 times, when it seemed I was through and he stood to leave, he asked "Do you have any more questions?" Twice, I did. He sat back down and gave me answers. When I finally said "no more questions", he waited a moment before finally leaving, and then said "if you think of anything else, just call my office." I didn't feel rushed, didn't get the impression he thought any of my questions were needless. Suggested I return for re-check in 1 year. Based on that initial visit, I will be back. He is now my new pulmonologist.

I barely spent any time in their waiting room, it was fantastic. I had just sat down in my chair before they called me back to see the doctor. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I was so impressed with their staff. They were so professional and respectful.
