Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I spent my college years thinking I would work in a biochemistry lab. However, through a shadowing experience with a wonderful doctor, I discovered that medicine was my calling. I have been on this journey in medicine ever since. I enjoy teaching and love that I can share the knowledge I acquire to help patients, medical students, and resident doctors learn about health and illnesses in a meaningful way. What I want my patients to know about me: I would describe my practice style as thorough, thoughtful, and patient-centered. I am a D.O. physician which means I can use hands-on osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) when needed with my patients.
