Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: As a youth, I was interested in both science and music. However, helping and teaching others became my passion. Several doctors with excellent bedside manner took care of me and inspired me to become a physician . I realize now that my quest for knowledge to help make other lives better is an ongoing lifetime role for me. What I want my patients to know about me: I don't believe in a pill for every ailment. Many patient get so much better when I remove unnecessary medications. Exercise and a healthy diet is the best medicine and is my first recommendation. Adequate sleep, great relationships, laughter and getting out into nature can make a huge difference.
