Doctor Alff took an X-ray of my spine, and said that with 24 therapy sessions, and specific home stretches at the cost of $2,000.00 he could make changes in the curvature of my spine (scoliosis), and help to relieve my sciatic nerve pain.

The pain is still the same today as it was before the treatments.

During the course of the therapy sessions, after a couple of the visits I did feel some temporary relief, although it was temporary.

After the 23rd session Doctor Alff and I had a sit down review of his notes and we discussed the outcome of the treatments so far.

My Sciatic pain had not been removed. I asked Doctor Alf if he was going to take another spine X-ray so we can see any movement in the curvature.

Doctor Alff said that he did not like to over radiate his patients.

I should have insisted on another X-ray, so I could have asked him what he accomplished with his treatments.

I did not attend the following 24th visit. I went back to a local chiropractor who had taken spine X-rays approximately three years earlier.

This chiropractor took an updated X-ray. When we compared the new X-ray with the previous one that he took a few years back, there had not been any noticeable changes in the curvature of my spine.

My advice to anyone going to a Chiropractor:
1. Request beginning and ending X-rays.
2. Get a written guarantee that if the therapy does not improve any visible problems, like an X-ray showing a curve in the spine would show, you are not liable for any payment for their services.

If the doctor did not help you, what are you paying them for.

I am very unhappy about the wasted $2,000.00 for no results.
